Detailing sprays are suited for several situations such as when a car has some dirt but not enough for a full car wash.  Or if you have some dirt in a specific area but don't want to necessarily wash the entire car. Newer Detailers now include either a wax agent to repel water or UV protection to keep paint protected from the sun.
